SEASONAL WORSHIP OCCASIONS

The Ash Wednesday Service is a liturgy-based worship service that marks the beginning of Lent and includes the imposition of ashes and receiving communion.

The Maundy Thursday Service is a communion and worship service observed on the Thursday evening before Easter Sunday.  Commemorating the Last Supper, the Maundy Thursday service provides worshippers with an opportunity for personal introspection during Holy Week.

The Prayer Vigil is a 40-hour continuous prayer service held following the Maundy Thursday Worship Service.  Individuals devote themselves to prayer for half-hour periods during the prayer vigil.

Our children will lead the Christmas Festival and Children’s Christmas Pageant, the giving of gifts for the Christmas Store, and a Christmas Tasting Party in Fellowship Hall.

The Christmas Eve Service celebrates the spirit of the birth of Christ.  Services are held at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on December 24th.

Dedication to Christian Family Life is an exceptional opportunity for parents with infants or young children to commit themselves to the calling of Christian family life and present their children to the congregation.

All are welcome!
