  • Tom Lyda

Meet Tom, FCC Norman's Minister of Discipleship, a warm-hearted man who has enjoyed many years of sharing delicious church potlucks and participating in lively committee meetings!

Originally from rainy Washington State, Tom moved to Texas for theological studies. He attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, earning a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Homiletics (the Art of Preaching) from Brite Divinity School.

Tom happily enjoys life with his wonderful wife, the lovely Lisa. Together, they continue the greatest adventure: supporting and nurturing their three beautiful grown-up sons and their Labradoodle Murphy.

He spends his free time relaxing and staying active: reading books, watching his streaming list, and staying fit enough to outpace any theological debate.
