Book Club is open to anyone in the congregation. Participants in the book club read a selected book (copies available) and then come together for discussion. The book club meets at 4:00 p.m. on the 4th Sunday of September, October, November, January, February, March, April and one month during the summer.
Care Ministry is a group of volunteers who contact by phone or visitation people unable to attend worship service. Those who would like to serve in this ministry or who would like to receive its services may contact Michelynn McKinght (mmck@lsu.edu) or please call 405-329-2192.
Disciples Men The Disciples Men (DM) meet quarterly offering coffee and conversation in the fellowship hall. The major service project for DM is the Annual Bean Dinner on January 23, 2024, to benefit the medication fund of Variety Care Norman. Adult Groups: GenX Group (for those born roughly between 1965 and 1980) and Millennials (for those born roughly between 1980-1995) meets monthly, as schedules allow, for food, fellowship, and recreation.
Social Justice Book Club will read and discuss both fiction and non-fiction books centered on the topics of racism and racial inequality, and how we as Disciples can address these issues. Disciples of Christ Women’s Ministry (DoCWM) is a group for women of all ages. Its goals are spiritual, educational, creative, and personal growth in the service of Jesus Christ. There are five sub-groups: Hester Sickles meets on Monday afternoons; Mabel Boggess, and Lucile Springer meet on Tuesday mornings; Nancy Chess meets on Sunday evenings, and Marilyn Humble meets quarterly.
Members of the DoCWM conduct several fund raisers to fund the various outreach efforts of the CWF.

Quarterly - Evening Group Meets
Discussion Groups meet on a monthly basis and combine topical discussion with the fellowship of potluck suppers. Discussions vary from intra-group activities to discussions led by guest resource persons. Groups meet on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, the third Sunday of the month in the Fall and the third Saturday of the month in the Spring. Sunday Afternoon Reflections Bible Study is a time-limited group that meets for 4-5 weeks in the fall to explore a variety of biblical, theological, and spiritual topics. Past studies have included Introduction to the Old and New Testaments, video studies, and book discussions.
